Your Health & Safety Is a Priority
Please know that our thoughts are with those affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The health and safety of the SC family—participants and volunteers alike—are our first priority. We recognize the impact that COVID-19 is having, and will have, on international travel in particular. We continue to closely monitor specific travel advisories through official channels, which include the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. State Department, as well as safety guidelines at the local, state, national, and international levels.
The SC22 committee is dedicated to providing the community with the best possible conference experience for all participants regardless of the dynamics at play. In the coming months, we will be working with our stakeholders to produce an event that will be every bit as creative, inspiring, and meaningful as past SC conferences.
We appreciate your support, and look forward to seeing you in November.
Before You Travel
Before traveling to the conference, we recommend that you stay informed of any information your local health agencies may make available and take reasonable precautions to protect yourself. IEEE continues to closely monitor this dynamic situation and will provide updates with any developments.
On-Site in Dallas
The following proactive steps are being taken to maintain a safe and healthy environment at SC22:
- We are committed to following regional jurisdiction guidelines and rules in maintaining a safe environment for our attendees. The World Health Organization’s (WHO) guidelines are located here.
- We are working closely with the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas and surrounding venues hosting official SC22 programming to ensure there are sufficient medical processes in place and sanitation products readily available.
- We will continue to provide timely WHO and other relevant updates to registered attendees throughout the conference as needed.
